These awards ensure that worthy Canadian engineers, engineering projects or achievements, engineering teams, engineering teachers, and engineering students receive the recognition they deserve. In addition to professional engineering excellence, the awards also honour outstanding community and professional endeavours that strengthen the profession and contribute to the quality of life in Canada.

The deadline for nominations is 4 p.m. EST on Friday, January 8, 2010. Note: the nomination form for the Medal for Distinction in Engineering Education Award must be submitted by December 1, 2009, to the engineering licensing body (in the province where the applicant teaches) for their information as well as for confirmation of registration by their president.
