This is a call for all who wish to participate in the planning of the CELF Summit from the CFES side. The CELF Summit is a joint initiative of the six major engineering organizations in Canada, of which the CFES is a part of. Taking place May 19 - 21, 2009 in Montréal, the CELF Summit plans to bring together the foremost people in Canadian society to think, discuss and plan for the role of the engineer in the next 30 years of Canadian society. This is our chance to make an impact on a national level by bringing a student perspective to this event.
What can you do to help? We need people to help plan sessions, speakers, find sponsors and all other details to help make the CFES' theme, Quality of Life, a success. Whether you can only contribute a few hours, or if you are interested in leading the way, please, send an email to Kyle Ruttan (kyle.ruttan@cfes.ca), with an outline of how you think you can contribute, and we will find a place for you.
This is an exciting time for the CFES, and one that all members can take part in! Become involved in planning the CELF Summit today!
