Each year the Canadian Engineering Competition (CEC) brings together 150 of the most innovative and creative engineering undergraduate students from across the nation to compete against each other in one of six categories. Each competition category at CEC challenges its participants to expand their frame of reference and to identify solutions to problems experienced by our profession. The 25th annual Canadian Engineering Competition will take place March 5-8, 2009 and will be hosted by the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Each year, regional competitions are held across Canada. Competitors who place in the top first and second places in each competition category at the regional level are invited to attend this prestigious national competition.
