This past month in Ottawa, ON the CFES was lucky enough to send representatives to the ACEC (acec.ca) Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards. This is where awards are given to some of the foremost consulting companies and projects in Canada. It was also a premier networking opportunity for the CFES attendees, as they were able to rub elbows and discuss business with some of the most successful engineering professionals around. Some of the categories were Transportation, Project Management and Water Resources and Energy Management. The awards took place in the Chateau Laurier, and invited consulting engineers as well as clients as a few Members of Parliament.

Representing the CFES were the National Capital Liaison, Quebec Ambassador, Ontario Ambassador and Carleton VP External. Thanks go out to ACEC for providing the tickets.
