Hello Canada,
Since you haven’t heard from charity in a while, we wanted to give you an update on what’s been happening in the past couple of months. Before we can get started with detailing what’s in store for the coming year, we need to take care of some unfinished business. We need to sell, sell, SELL the Iron Ring Chef cookbooks!
If you haven’t already bought a cookbook, we suggest you show off your engineering pride, and purchase one for your own enjoyment! As we all know, this project was a joint effort from all Canadian engineering students. The cookbook is a collection of tasty recipes, which will serve as simple meal ideas for the typical school night, or even entertaining! You can feel good about purchasing your copy of the cookbook knowing that all proceeds are being donated to the Canadian Red Cross for Haiti disaster relief.
Already purchased a copy of the cookbook? How about a gift for a family member or a close friend, a professor, a boss or senior advisor, or even a friend who has moved out on their own! Regardless of the occasion, the cookbook is a great gift idea, and an even better way to show off the many skills that we engineering students possess!
We’ve started the initial planning of this year’s charity event, and we’re very excited to see it through. We hope that all of you will be just as excited to participate in the event as we are to plan it! As the
event planning continues, we will keep you updated with the progression.
Please forward any questions, concerns, or comments you may have, including any ideas for selling the cookbooks to charity@cfes.ca.
