The Engineers Canada Board of Directors meeting took place October 5th through 7th in Ottawa, ON.  This meeting is a gathering of the Board, which is composed of the constituent members, committee members and other guests.  I attended, representing the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students.

A full report will be coming out shortly, but I would like to summarize some outcomes quickly - firstly, Engineers Canada is still very interested and very supportive of all the work the CFES is doing, and is looking forward to joint collaborations in the future.  This is great news for us.  Furthermore, there's a new signatory to the Washington Accord - Malaysia.  Finally, Engineers Canada is pursuing mutual cooperation agreements with the Assembly of First Nations for the promotion of engineering education.
