This past month, 11 students from across Canada hopped on a plane to the Czech Republic where they had the amazing opportunity to participate in the first ever Joint Event on Education which was run by CFES and the BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) in Brno, Czech Republic.

The event was around 10 days long and involved students from all over Canada, Europe, professionals, professors, and industry representatives. Though there were some snags along the way, overall many of the Canadian attendees had a spectacular time, created bonds with students around the world, and strengthened the bond between CFES and BEST.

Now that the event is over, CFES is going to be taking some time to decide whether or not we will be adding Events on Education or something similar to our resume of events and activities. If you are interested in learning more about EoEs or have input as to whether you feel CFES should pursue running them across Canada, email vpsd@cfes.ca.
