The Kyle Ruttan Exposition of Science and Engineering is a chance for member schools to showcase an aspect of their engineering school which they are proud of and would like to display to other schools across Canada.
Each member school will develop a showcase of something that their engineering school is proud of; this can involve anything from a prominent student team to a major event that has been very successful. The showcase can be made in the form of a backboard which contains all relevant information, such as what the event or service is, how it was established, and the logistics of running it each time. Presentations should mimic that of a science fair display and will be awarded “Ruttanoos”, which can be exchanged for Kyle Ruttan themed prizes.
The goal of this exposition is to promote an aspect of each member school’s engineering culture, which can be presented with pride to the rest of the country.
If a member school cannot completely assemble a display board before Congress due to transportation restrictions, materials can be made available to these schools upon request. Content should be prepared prior to arriving at Congress, so it is a matter of pasting the content onto the backboard.
