Toronto Complementary Education Course 2009

U of T successfully ran the only CFES Complementary Course for 2009 this August. The course, titled Engineering in Sport, had around 50 participants from all over Canada and some from Europe as well. Though there were not many family CFES faces at the course this year, it gave a whole new group of students the opportunity to learn a bit about CFES and what we do as well as about all the topics covered in the course.

The course, though run on a much smaller budget than originally intended, was deemed a huge success by all of the participants. There were some spectacular tours, lots of interesting activities, and a friendly group of organizers.

CFES would like to thank the organizer of the course, Charlsie Searle, for her SPECTACULAR job on the course. Great work Charlsie, and we hope to see you back with us again at Congress.
