The 130th meeting of the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board will be taking place from February 22 - 23 in Ottawa, Ontario. The meeting is being held to review the the past year's accreditation and discuss any issues or updates that need to be made to the program. Items reviewed will include policies and procedures of the accreditation committee, emerging engineering programs as well as matters concerning the Washington Accord. This looks to be an informative meeting, and the CFES is very pleased to be once again invited to this event, as engineering school accreditation is something very important to us.
Attendees to the meeting include members of the Accreditation Board, representatives from the various provincial and territorial regulating bodies as well as other Engineers Canada representatives. The National Capital Liaison, Rob Stalker, will be representing the CFES at this event.
