Proposal Submission Guidelines

How to submit a proposal:

  1. Load the submission form
  2. The following items are required on the form:
    • Motion title: A human readable title for the motion
    • Mover: Your school as mover of the motion. If you have a seconder please put it in at the time of submission
    • Status: Leave this as "pending submission" until you are ready to submit, you should change it to
    • Goal: A high level description of the intent of the motion
    • Be It Resolved That: The actual content of the proposal. The resolution should contain specific actions that will be implemented by specific groups, be it an executive, commissioner, or the executive as a whole.
  3. Submit at the bottom of the form.
  4. If you need to find your message again, search through the list of current proposals here.
  5. Don't paste text directly from Word. Either use the Paste as Plain Text button below (clipboard with a T) or copy from Notepad or TextEdit
